Well, even if I don't manage to make a class [don't have a car and am over in Stafford which is not the easiest place to travel from albeit not so far as the crow flies, but I'm not a crow] thank you very much for the recommendations on books about stretch fabric. I'd start with the most basic one. I made a T shirt by sewing round a RTW one but forgot to add seam allowances at the front. I did an extra wide back to compensate and fortunately with being stretchy fabric it was forgiving and worked - I'm in my 60s so will not be bookmarking the burlesque class travel capability or no travel capability.
