I altered the pattern a little bit the make it a more flattering shape at the front and extra ruffly at the sides.
These are made from vintage Liberty cotton lawn, which works brilliantly and i do love Liberty's.
I also added ruffles across the back.
I made this pair from some left over vintage silk, it did move a bit and if i make another pair like this i think i need to prepare the fabric a little more carefully as it moves so easily.
I used vintage lace to make the ruffles which worked well as i did not have to over sew the edges.
I really am in pants heaven with these!
I am running a Frilly Knickers Night on Tuesday 1st September 6pm-9.30pm at the studio using this pattern.it's £25/£23 concessions and £5 materials cost.
Just found your blog and love it. Put a link up on my Face Book to it. Love the knickers and now must go through you entire blog to see what other lovelies you have.
