For over a year now I have run a course called 'Make your own Frilly Knickers' which has been a sell out every time. So building on the success of these lovely pants I have been working over the last month on making it into a 'How to' kit.

 

It comes with a printed pattern and complete illustrated instructions..

 

Alongside everything you need to make one of these delightful pairs of frilly knickers

 

Here are some of the lovely liberty 100% cotton lawn prints that you can choose from.

 

Its a great beginner sewing project, which you can make over and over again!

Amy's Beautiful 1950's Inspired Wedding Dress

One of the things I was busy making last month was this gorgeous peacock blue and gold silk dupion dress as a commission for Amy's wedding.

Here are the photographs of Amy the day, and she looks quite amazing.

These are the inspiration pictures Amy brought with her on our first meeting about making the dress. Inspired by 1950's pin up wiggle dress, we took elements of all of these images to create the perfect dress for her wedding day.

And you have to take a closer look at her shoes...they are from Vivianne Westwood and are completely divine!
