I have a camera again!
I have made these using an original 1940's home made slipper pattern and they have turned out delightfully.
Here are pictures of the samples for my Vintage Slipper Class.
Made from vintage ticking fabric i hand embroidered the front, which has made me want to hand embroider motifs on everything. It is such a relaxing thing to do, to stitch.
I finished them with bias binding to bound them onto thick felt used for the soles
They have covered elastic straps
and a little case to keep them in, really the perfect present!
This Vintage Slipper class is running on Saturday 31st October 9.30-4pm
£45.00/£40 concessions and £10 materials cost

Hannah, these slippers are just gorgeous. The embroidery is so neat I hadn't realised you'd done it by hand! Love them :)
