A bit of a rainy start to the day but i had such a great view of tower bridge...
but the sun did come out and i got to have my very own shop for the day

New dress for me
I made this day dress over the weekend made form some lovely 1940's cotton fabric with little bows on it. I had drafted the pattern already, its the same except for a small change to the neckline as my Rose dress i made fro the Living Threads Exhibition over Easter.
I made this one with a tie at the neck instead of having a collar

My own little shop for the day.......
Am really excited that i have got a place at Wayne Hemingway's Project 'Kioskiosk' as part of the Super Contemporary exhibition at the Design Museum in London.
I will be showing examples of my work and selling some gifts, customised clothes and accessories.
So if your in London on Monday 27th July come and say hello i will be open from 10am-8pm, hope to see you there.

The healing power of pots of tea
I have officially got the flu and after not being able to hold down anything much i decided to make tonight's offerings as special as i could muster. I had forgot the sheer joy of having a tray of tea and toast, with a proper cup and saucer, tea pot and milk jug. This rediscovery is the silver lining of this week.
I also took a short walk to the video shop and have the following films lined up for my weekend of recuperation:

Missing the studio..
My studio wall, i have been sorting more photographs to add to it.
I have come down with an horrible throat infection this week so have been hauled up at home with a temperature. I am looking forward to the morning that i wake up and i am all better and i can go and finish my half made summer dress i started on monday.
