About Me

Trained in bespoke fashion design Hannah is inspired by 1940's and 1950's fashion and textiles. She remakes and remodels original patterns in vintage and found fabrics using a mixture of hand stitch embroidery and traditional making techniques to create beautiful womenswear and assessories.
Each piece is hand crafted and tells a story of belonging, connecting personal and domestic histories of a past generation. Reusing fabrics such as eiderdowns, blankets and tablecloths she remakes them into contemporary items for use today under her label 'Hannah and Bella'.
